Since 2007, when Nepal officially became a secular state and Christmas was recognized as an official holiday, Christmas has been widely celebrated in Nepal.
Nepalgunj is no exception. Although the commercial aspect cannot be denied, the city is decorated with Christmas trees and lights, and the birth of Jesus Christ is celebrated in churches and home gatherings.
Last year, the children of ACH Nepal enjoyed Christmas with a Western-style meal after the Christmas service. This year, we would like to invite the children at our branch orphanage in Western RuKum to Nepalgunj to experience the joy of Christmas!
